In 2025, we will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of the »Waltz King« Johann Strauss, who was born near Vienna in 1825. We will kick things off right at the beginning of the year as part of the Musikalische Komödie's New Year's concerts.

The up-and-coming conductors of the preceding operetta workshop organised by the Forum Dirigieren of the Deutscher Musikrat can once again look forward to winning the LVZ prize voted for by the audience.
