Helena can't sleep, tomorrow is finally the day: the long-awaited operation is due and will finally make Helena feel complete. On this night, she relives her journey: how she secretly slipped into her mother's clothes as a teenager with a little colour in her face, how she kept her true identity hidden for a long time and started a family with two sons; how she eventually made the courageous decision to reveal herself and how those around her and her family reacted to it.

This queer chamber musical by Rory Six uses sensitive and humorous songs to explore a trans* person's journey of self-discovery and invites us to reflect on how tolerant and empathetic our society currently is.
