With which opera character could you imagine living together and why?
I would love to live with Figaro. I can hardly imagine what we would get up to, especially in Sevillia.

Favourite quote from a work, an opera, a book, a Netflix series ...?
"Nearly all man can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." (Robert G. Ingersoll on Abraham Lincoln)

Favourite place in Leipzig and why?
Auwald and Cospudener See: a worthwhile destination in all seasons to get in touch with nature (outside and inside).

Favourite moment on the evening of a performance?
The concentration phase before the performance. This is the moment when it becomes clear whether I have planned well in advance, whether I will step on stage clearly and openly and whether I will be able to experience what my body-soul-spirit fabric will do with the character today. Relatively much of it can be planned and rehearsed, but it remains something that is quite unique in that it only happens today.
