Visitors using the underground parking lot on Augustusplatz can access the opera house directly from the parking garage.

Dear visitors of the Oper Leipzig,  
despite elaborate and thorough discussions with the operator of the public underground parking garage Augustusplatz, Q-Park, we were unable to come to a mutual agreement and find a suitable solution for visitors to receive a discounted parking ticket.
Therefore, our current offer ends on July 31st, 2019 and regular parking fees apply starting August 1st, 2019, even on days of our events. Further information can be found on www.q-park.de.
The option of using public transportation before and after events of the Oper Leipzig will remain available to our guests.

Guests of the Musikalische Komödie can use the parking lot behind the venue for free for all performances. Visitors can enter the parking lot on working days (monday to saturday) starting 4:30 p.m. and on sundays and public holidays from 1:30 p.m.

A stop for coaches to get on and off is possible directly at the opera house on the Schwanenteich side of Goethestrasse.

In the Opera House and in the Musical Comedy Theatre, we provide booster seats for children at every performance. We would also be happy to book a taxi for you at the end of the performance. Please speak to our front of house staff.
